Hop on the #15 bus at SW 5th Avenue and SW Washington Street downtown or catch the Portland Streetcar “NS” (north/south) line near the Central Library (Yamhill & 10th). Get off the streetcar at 23rd and Marshall, or exit the bus at the 23rd and Thurman stop.
Your first stop offers $2 tastes of about two dozen beers and ciders. If one grabs your fancy, the bartender will seal it in a can for you. The Bottle Shop is part of the McMenamins Family of pubs and restaurants. One block south is its sister, Tavern & Pool, which operates a hard cider bar.
